  Situated in the South East Corner of the picturesque Tremp Valley, The house stands on its own at 1000metres in the Montsec Natural Park (where Mediterranean flora meets alpine) you can enjoy the tranquillity and the sounds of nature undisturbed and starry night skies unpolluted by any street lights. The surrounding countryside has a rich diversity of birds and raptors wild flowers insects and butterflies it is also an area popular in autumn with mushroom pickers. The nearby Montsec escarpment is cut through by the dramatic gorges of Mont Rebei, Terradets and Vila Nova de Meia, the latter a walk or10min drive away providing excellent walking and climbing right on your doorstep. In the valley close to the house are idyllic plunge pools where you can laze undisturbed, we are within easy reach of pools and pristine lakes with high mountain vistas and village swimming pools, often with a bar! This agricultural area with fields of wheat corn and sunflowers is interspersed with mixed forests beautiful old almond and olive groves and local vineyards providing delicious wines.
